Pradeep Gupta (Born March 8, 1955) is the chairman and managing director of CyberMedia, India’s leading specialty media house and a public company with an ICT focus. He has received national awards for his championship of the disabled, and alumni awards for entrepreneurship. He is also an Angel investor and a mentor to a number of entrepreneurs. 

He is the chairman of Cyber Media (India) Ltd. based in Gurgaon, near New Delhi, South Asia’s largest specialty media house and one of India’s leading magazine publishers, Cyber Media is a public company with an annual revenue of Rs. 1 billion.

Other positions Gupta holds or has held include President, TiE Delhi; Co-Founder, Indian Angels Network; Past Chairman, PanIIT India; President, Association of Indian Magazines; Governing Board Member, Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi; Director, UTI Asset Management Company; Member, Investment Management Committee, Punjab Venture Capital Ltd. 

Pradeep Gupta received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Delhi in 2000. He also received the Helen Keller Award from the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People, the Award for Outstanding Contribution towards National Development from IIT Delhi Alumni Association.

Beginning fall 2015 Perry has joined the faculty of Carthage College as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Prior to this, Perry enjoyed a ten year tenure as a Faculty Associate with the Computer Sciences Department of the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Perry is a serial entrepreneur having co-founded a number of companies in visual effects, computer graphics and real time audio effects.

As part of these enterprises, Perry created a number of notable inventions including shape-driven warping and morphing for which he received an Academy Award for Scientific and Technical Achievement. Perry has helped build shipping products since 1985.

On a dare from his son, Perry wrote a unique zombie novel, Get Off My L@wn, available on Amazon.
